Swimming Costumes - Pin Up Summer & High Waisted Bikinis

Retro or vintage High Wasited  Bikins are clearly your answer for summer 2014! Every online or offline shop has few design of vintage bikinis this season. They are so elegant and super flattering. If you have some curves or are a bit stubborn about your stomach this is your ideal bikini this summer. Many celebrities have been spotted wearing high-waisted bikinis on their holidays last month.

I love the stripy one Taylor Swift is wearing but since strips usually make you look a bit wider then you are I would be careful wearing it with my curves. Taylor is clearly a lot in to her high waisted bikinis this season. She was spotted in few different colours and designs.

Love this cute bikini top with a knot and a zipper on bottoms from net-a-porter.com by Lisa Marie Fernandez. Jew dropping £390. A bit too expensive for me but luck those that can afford it.

Bold Aztec prints are great choice for a flattering silhouette. This gorgeous swimwear is from figleaves.com and sold separately, so if you don't like balconnet style top then you can mix & match with something else. Briefs are only £19 and top £33.

mydressroom.co.uk has great selection of polka dot high waisted bikinis. This is proper retro look that I was talking about. I totally love polka dot and this are really cute bikinis. You can buy them for around £50 or £40 with my discount code. You will also get a free delivery on orders over £40 - use code BLOG20

What do you think about the high-waisted bikinis and which one is your favorite?

Anti-hairloss treatment - Kerastase Specifique

Today I will be sharing my anti-hairloss treatment process with you. Unfortunately for me my hair is very problematic, roots are oily & length dry. I don't get blow dry very often and I don't dye my hair.

My hair is dull, thin and I loose a lot of it. I tried different shampoos, masks, conditioners but nothing helps. Last time I had my haircut done my hairdresser advised me to use the Bain Volumifique by Kerastase which is suppose to be adding volume. Well the roots seem ok but my hair itself became more lifeless and dull then before. Clearly this product is not for my type of hair.

Since everyone is going on about how great are Kerastase products I thought I should give it another go but with different product. I went on the brand website to see if I can find some information about correct product for my hair.
After spending some time on their website I finally discovered the range called Specifique which is suppose to be anti-hairloss. One thing to bear in mind never buy anything from beauty salons! (Sorry hairdressers and beauty therapists if you are reading this post.) You can always get same products online for a lot cheaper. So I was silly enough to buy this shampoo for £17 from my hairdressers and then I found it for £12.75 on internet including free delivery. Great thing about shopping on internet is that you can almost always find a discount codes for everything. I have couple of codes for you which I have shared below.

Kerastase Specifique

The Specifique treatment consists of 3-4 products. This is very expensive treatment but I read a lot about it and it seems to work. There are 3 steps to take:

1. Bathe - BAIN STIMULISTE GL - £12.75
2. Treat - 2 products but I will only be using one of these two.
      - STIMULISTE - £31.50
      - AMINEXIL GL M® - £92 for 6 weeks supply but there is second option to buy 10x6 for £22.12
3. Texturise - SOIN DENSITIVE GL - £14.62

The Aminexil which is the main ingredient in step 2 treatment is proven by scientist that it increases hair growth. I tried to find a cheaper version of a product with main ingredient Aminexil but there is not anything around right now, the only one I found was from Vichy which works out a bit more expensive then Kerastase. So I decided to go for Kerastase since there is more evidence that it works.

Yesterday I found few discount codes for Kerastase products and bought some from Feel Unique

feelunique.com - £10 off when you spend £25. Use code WAHANDA10 or if you are going to buy  AMINEXIL GL M® it would be better to use 15% discount code PPAPRIL14. Last time I check on 28/04/14 and both of them worked.

Have you used this product and if so what do you think of it? Subscribe to my blog to follow the outcome of the trial :) I will be updating the progress of my treatment.

How To Wear Midi Rings - H&M and Primark

Yesterday I went for a little shopping retreat and popped in to H&M to return a sweatshirt which I ordered online.  I love some of their every day clothes but the sizes are very unreliable, this shirt I ordered was ginormous! Really really cheap and comfy but comes in very large size so if anyone decides to buy one I would suggest to go for smaller size.

Anyway, back to the rings. I got some midi rings from both H&M and Primark. I think they are around £3.99 for a pack of 4 in H&M and even better price £1.50 for 3 in Primark. Here is how I styled them today!

midi rings
If you would wear lots of normal rings it could look a bit tacky but if you pair up with some midi rings you can get away with unwanted look. All rings in the pack come in sizes for only index, middle and ring finger which means you can't really use them on your little finger or thumb. I thought it might be nicer if I wear something on my little finger and I put 3 midi rings to give a better stylish look. You can swap the around and try different options, add index or ring finger rings or wear only on index and middle. There are so many different way to style this very trendy rings.

Sunny weekend at Sandbanks!

Beautiful weekend! We recently moved to Dorset and since we moved it has been terrible weather, every day raining. Finally after long wait we had some gorgeous sun shinning down this weekend.

Saturday we went down to Sandbanks for lovely glass of Pimm's. The view from the bar terrace was incredible, hundreds of kite boarders were out on open water enjoying great day.

In the evening we went to the sea food restaurant called Cruel Sea in Penn Hill. Yummy food! They serve food in tapas style but its not Spanish restaurant. I know it sounds a bit strange to have some pork at the seafood restaurant but I tried and really happy that I did.

Sunny Sunday by the sandbanks beach. It was almost 30 degrees and at some point I thought to jump in to the water :)

Here is the photo from my balcony on Sunday evening having glass of Rose with lemonade. Once I met this girl and she said that she hates summer... Seriously??? Who and how can hate summer, as soon as the sun is out my mood is changed and I am happy as never before :)

Is there anyone else who does not like summer and shinny sun?

  14th Feb... Valentine's Day - Gift Ideas! x x x

It's time of year when we are getting excited about spending lovely day or evening with our loved ones. Saint valentines day which is celebrated 14th Feb each year is one of the happiest and most romantic days of year. Unfortunately it remains as working day and if you are planing on taking your partner to a nice restaurant make sure you have lots of painkillers in the pocket for next morning.  :(  Most people struggle to come up with gift ideas for valntines day. I spent some time researching ideas and gifts which are listed below.

Before we move on to the list of ideas I have a little question. Do you often listen to your partner? Well I don't because most of the times its just blah blah blah, but now and again I capture things he says and write them down (sounds creepy I know but...). If I have just ignored everything he said and did not pay much attention then I would be one of the people reading similar blogs and searching the net for valentines gift ideas. Lucky me, some time ago my partner D mentioned that he wants to discover more of Italy and Italian wine and food. He is a big foodie person so any gift related to food and wine will mak ehim happy. I have written this down in my iphone not really thinking of Valentine's day but thought one day this may be very useful and here I am buying tickets to Italy.

Most of you will say ah lucky you that you have money to take him to Italy but if you don't have enough money you don't really have to take him or her to Italy to make it work. There are many place in London or big cities that offer amazing authentic Italian food or wine tasting. If you do have some money saved up but its not a lot, group buying websites like groupon.co.uk and livingsocial.co.uk are always good place for cheap holidays.

Anyway this is long term planing and may not be helpful for this Valentine's day. However, I am sure if you start recorded things your partner says (obviously just what she/he likes or wants to do) you will have bunch of ideas for any occasion and most important ideas that your partner would love. They will be useful for Christmas and birthday too.

Valentine's gifts:
